Susan Morawetz is a technical director in the Strategy, Evaluation and Analysis (SEA) practice area, with over thirty years’ experience designing, implementing, managing and evaluating international development programs. She has extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), which has included leading major evaluations, developing performance monitoring plans and research instruments, analyzing data and results, and designing and providing MEL capacity building services. Susan has significant experience in programming focused on education, workforce development, youth, conflict mitigation, food security, maternal and child health, and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH). She spent 16 years at USAID and has worked for several international NGOs and management consulting firms. Since leaving the U.S. government in 2004, she has provided support to a wide array of international donors, including USAID, the U.S. State Department, MCC, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, plus numerous private and corporate foundations. Susan holds a bachelor’s from Washington University and a master's from New York University.
